Sangre de Cristo Arts Center
Downtown Pueblo · Pueblo, Colorado
The Sangre de Cristo Arts Center is southern Colorado's foremost arts institution, with four galleries, a children's museum, and a performing arts theater that make it the most comprehensive cultural facility between Colorado Springs and New Mexico. Named for the mountain range that defines the horizon south of Pueblo, the Arts Center reflects the deep cultural heritage of its region — a blend of Indigenous, Hispanic, and Anglo traditions that gives southern Colorado a distinctive identity. The center's permanent collection, which includes Southwestern Hispanic art and works by regional artists, complements an active program of traveling exhibitions and year-round community events.
