UNM Art Museum
University of New Mexico · Albuquerque, New Mexico
The University of New Mexico Art Museum is one of the finest university art museums in the American Southwest, with a distinguished collection of more than 32,000 works including major holdings in photography, prints, and New Mexican modernist painting. The photography collection is particularly exceptional — spanning the history of the medium from early daguerreotypes through the documentary masters of the twentieth century — and the prints collection documents the full range of printmaking from Old Master engravings to contemporary screenprints and lithographs. Located at the heart of UNM's beautiful campus, the museum is free and open to the public, making it one of Albuquerque's most accessible cultural resources.
