Vladem Contemporary
Railyard District · Santa Fe, New Mexico
Vladem Contemporary is a branch of the New Mexico Museum of Art located in the Railyard District, dedicated to modern and contemporary art from 1945 to the present in a striking renovated industrial space that provides a dramatic counterpart to the museum's historic Pueblo Revival building on the Plaza. The Vladem's program draws from the New Mexico Museum of Art's extensive holdings of twentieth and twenty-first century work, supplemented by loans and new acquisitions that position it as a serious institution for contemporary art in the Southwest. Its Railyard location — adjacent to SITE Santa Fe, El Museo Cultural, and the Santa Fe Farmers' Market — makes it part of one of the most culturally rich and walkable districts in the American Southwest.
