Desert Foothills Art Center
Cave Creek / Carefree · Cave Creek, Arizona
Serving the communities of Cave Creek and Carefree since 1972, the Desert Foothills Art Center has built more than five decades of programming dedicated to the art and heritage of the Sonoran Desert region. Gallery exhibitions rotate throughout the year, featuring local and regional artists working in watercolor, oil, ceramics, and sculpture, with a curatorial focus on work that reflects the landscape and culture of the northern Sonoran Desert. The center also maintains an active education calendar — classes, workshops, and youth programs — that connects the broader community to the creative life of northern Arizona's foothills communities.
