Nasher Sculpture Center
Arts District · Dallas, Texas
The Nasher Sculpture Center is one of the finest sculpture museums in the world, housing the landmark Raymond and Patsy Nasher collection — among the greatest private sculpture collections ever assembled — in a purpose-built building designed by Renzo Piano that is itself a masterpiece of museum architecture. The collection spans the full history of modern sculpture from Rodin through Picasso, Giacometti, Henry Moore, and Matisse to the postwar giants — Calder, Noguchi, Serra, and Judd — presented in Piano's luminous galleries and an acclaimed outdoor garden that provides the ideal setting for large-scale works in natural light. The Nasher is the crown jewel of the Dallas Arts District and one of the essential cultural experiences in the entire Southwest.
