Women & Their Work Gallery

Women & Their Work is one of Austin's most beloved arts institutions, dedicated since 1978 to fostering the careers of women artists working in all disciplines. The gallery presents six to eight exhibitions per year in its Lavaca Street space, featuring emerging and established artists from Texas and across the country. Programming extends beyond exhibitions to include workshops, artist talks, and an annual competition that has helped launch dozens of careers. The gallery's commitment to intersectional representation has made it a cornerstone of Austin's cultural life for nearly five decades.
