Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village
Tlaquepaque · Sedona, Arizona
Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village is one of the most beloved and architecturally distinctive art destinations in the American Southwest - a hand-built complex modeled after a traditional Mexican village, with terracotta-tiled courtyards, fountains, mature sycamore trees, and hand-painted tilework that creates an atmosphere of genuine warmth and beauty. More than 40 galleries, studios, and artisan shops occupy the village's interconnected spaces, presenting everything from fine art painting and bronze sculpture to handmade jewelry, ceramics, and blown glass. Founded in 1971 by Abe Miller, who wanted to create a space where art and commerce could coexist gracefully, Tlaquepaque remains one of the highlights of any visit to Sedona.
