Parks Gallery
Ledoux Street · Taos, New Mexico
Parks Gallery is one of Taos's most established venues for landscape and figurative painting, presenting artists with deep connections to the high desert of northern New Mexico whose work reflects the extraordinary quality of light, color, and space that has drawn painters to Taos for more than a century. The gallery's program honors the tradition of direct engagement with the Taos landscape - the Rio Grande Gorge, the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the high sage mesa - while remaining open to the full range of contemporary approaches to landscape and figure that artists in the valley are actively pursuing today. Parks Gallery's long-standing presence in the Taos art community gives it a deep understanding of the tradition its artists are working within and extending.
